There is a new motion picture called Adam about a romance between a man with Asperger's and a neurotypical woman. I went to see it on the opening day out here at the Landmark Egyptian Theatre in Seattle, expecting the typical Hollywood ending that's highly sympathetic to people with Asperger's. I was pleasantly surprised by the message of the movie, that the woman turned out to be the true protagonist and that the story is really about her choices. Go and see it and by doing so, support future projects that help spread awareness and understanding of our situation.
